Name: Jasmine Grace
Age: 27

Brief History: Jasmine was born on December 24th 1983; her father used to say that she was the best Christmas present he ever received.She never really got the chance to know her mother; her mother left right after she was born, but Jasmine never missed that motherly influence. Jasmine was extremely close to her father and she enjoyed spending her time with him more so than doing anything else. Her father was an sled musher who used to run in the sled races, and she would wake up early every morning and take care of all the dogs. During the off season she attended the local public school, but during the race season she traveled with her father and her uncle to the races and helped her uncle take care of the dogs. When she was twelve she learned the truth about her father's family; they were all shifters, and now she was one too. She had the ability to change into a wolf at will. She was destined to become the leader of the pack when her father passed away. Since the shifters had a longer life span than most humans she assumed that she had a long while before this would happen.
Unfortunately her father was murdered during one of his sled races along with the dogs. One young female pup that was left behind lived; Jasmine was heartbroken at the loss of her father, and she took the pup into her own custody refusing to sell her to anyone. Jasmine named the pup Koko and the dog was so spoiled she even slept in the house with Jasmine. Jasmine was now the leader of her pack, so she took charge for the first time in her life. Jasmine had more to learn than she knew; there was actually a neighboring pack of shifters who was at war with her family. They wanted the same hunting grounds.
The neighboring pack attacked her family's home and killed several of their shifters. Jasmine was heartbroken to see so many of her family members killed so violently. She couldn't take the pressure of being in charge anymore, so she passed on the right of Alpha to her uncle and left home. Jasmine and Koko moved to Alberta Canada where they joined a super-hero team known as Alpha Flight. She stayed with them for over a year before going out on her own.
Personality: Jasmine is loyal and kind. She is used to being in charge, so she doesn't like being told what to do. She is brave and strong. She knows how to handle herself in a fight, and she will protect the people she cares about at all costs.
Appearance: In her human form she is blonde and petite. In her wolf form she is black and gray with crystal blue eyes.
List of Abilities/Powers: She has the power to change into a wolf at will. In wolf form she has the abilities of any normal wolf. She is quick, agile and forceful, but she retains her human intelligence. She can be killed just like any other wolf though, and in her human form she doesn't have most of her other powers. The only power she has in both forms is her animal telepathy.

When she was sixteen Jasmine discovered that she had powers beyond the norm and her uncle had to confess and tell her the truth. It turned out that Jasmine's mother was a powerful witch in a coven, and Jasmine had developed similar powers to her mother's. Jasmine could manipulate and control the water and fire elements; she was a walking contradiction, which was no surprise to her or her uncle. She also developed some telepathy which as it turns out had been her mother's powers.
Jasmine named the pup Koko and the dog was so spoiled she even slept in the house with Jasmine. Jasmine and Koko moved in with her uncle; he was always good to her and she was allowed to live in the house for free as long as she took care of the house for him. She received a call from the witches in her mother's coven to let her know that her mother had passed away. They asked her if she would like to move in with them for a while, and they would train her in the use of her powers. The only condition that she gave them was that she be allowed to bring Koko and her uncle with her to the coven and they agreed. They all packed their bags and moved into the coven headquarters and Jasmine began to train with the other witches, so that she could master her powers.
